After a year of our Introduction to Football Analysis Online Course being available on TheMastermindSite.com, we have now finally launched our Ebook version of the course. If reading a book is more your speed than taking a course, check out the revamped version of the course in book form.
While the book provides less 1-on-1 dialogue with site author Rhys Desmond, it does still provide a comprehensive look into football analysis from an industry expert. The book is a 144-page journey into the life of a football analyst, and how to conduct better analysis utilizing the tools, resources and knowledge sources you’ll gain from sifting through the chapters.

INTRO TO ANALYSIS – EBOOK – $27.10 usd
In designing a comprehensive course on Football Analysis, I wanted to produce a first of its kind article-based journey around the world.
Since the course is structured primarily through articles rather than video or personal teaching sessions, I have now decided to turn the course into an Ebook – helping those who prefer to view the material in a different format. Patreon subscribers traditionally get all my Ebooks for free, but this one is only available at full price, or for those in my Consultation Masterclass. If this Ebook sparks your interest and inspires you to learn more, I have over 1,200 articles up on TMS absolutely free, and currently have room to spare in my Consultation Masterclass. For those that are simply here to learn more about the game, your contributions to the course and Ebook are equally valuable, and you are free to ask any question any time to rhys@themastermindsite.com! I hope you enjoy this book, and I wish you the best of luck in your football analysis journey.
COURSE GOALS
Now it’s time to discuss what you will be able to get out of this book, and why I think it will be beneficial for your future in analysis. This book will…
-> Present you with a greater understanding of the ins and outs of football analysis, both in the professional and public landscape.
-> Enhance your tactical and analytical understanding of the beautiful game, helping you take your football conversations, writing, craft, etc. to the next level.
-> Gain 1on1 attention from an industry leader in football analysis, who has consulted with professional clubs, players, agents, scouts, analysts, writers, coaches, and managers from around the world.
-> Have a shot at promoting your work to a worldwide audience by the time you finish the book, including the possibility to publish on TMS.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to be in constant contact with me (Rhys), as you work your way through the book and begin to develop your own ideas about the game. To see a chapter by chapter breakdown and what the book entails, check out our preview of the book!

Bruno Fernandes isn’t helping
This season, the Portuguese playmaker has been underwhelming to say the least. On paper, Bruno’s start to the season looks okay. He’s scored 3 goals with 1 assist inside those 7 matches, and he’s still producing a high output when it comes to things like line-breaking passes, accurate long passes, and shots. Unfortunately, stats like…
Matheus Cunha is crazy, but that’s part of his charm
Always playing on the edge, getting in the face of the opponents, and dancing his way through celebrations, Cunha is the fighting spirit that can bring United out of a slump.
The standout U-23 players in the Premier League so far in 2026-27
The Premier League is known for being the most demanding, competitive league in the world. But that has never stopped the world’s best young players from gaining substantial minutes on the field. It’s not just other European leagues where young players can learn their trade before making a big move to one of Europe’s elite.…
