FAQ
Why do some players appear twice?
In some cases, a player has played almost equal minutes in two positions this season, allowing them to qualify for two different roles. In other cases, a player has only played one position, but has fulfilled double responsibilities within that role to equal importance.
How are players ranked?
Players are ranked based on our Role Continuity Evaluation System, assessing Wyscout data scores important to a player’s specific role. Each role has weighted categories that impact their score. A ‘Wing-Back’ for example will be assessed based on attacking metrics most important to their role first, followed by possession stats, and then defensive stats. All players are also given scores based on team performance metrics.
Why is there no video on your analyses anymore?
Unfortunately, we were not able to claim ‘fair use for educational purposes’ on the short clips on the site, and have had to remove them for copyright reasons. However, the video clips are still available to clubs, coaches, and players through the services listed below. We hope that you still find the quality you’re looking for in the text + images in our analyses as we search for external partners to provide supporting video.

Why the quality of the Canadian Premier League deserves more respect

One of the HFX names that’s stood out since the start of the season has been Massimo Ferrin, coming out of Patrice Gheisar’s League 1 Ontario winning team in Vaughan.
