Quick preview for Gameweek 5? I think so! Read below!
Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool
Man of the Match: Sadio Mane
David Luiz will start and will make a terrible error leading to a Roberto Firmino equalizer late on.
Hull 1-3 Arsenal
Man of the Match: Mesut Ozil
Curtis Davies’ four game Team of the Week run will finally come to an end as Arsenal batter the Tigers.
Leicester 2-1 Burnley
Man of the Match: Riyad Mahrez
Leicester are coming off of an impressive victory against Club Brugges in the UEFA Champions League and although they may be tired on Saturday, they should still have enough to shrug off Burnley.
Manchester City 3-0 Bournemouth
Man of the Match: Kevin de Bruyne
Ilkay Gundogan will play in his first Premier League match while Kevin de Bruyne will run the show again this time against Bournemouth.
West Brom 1-2 West Ham United
Man of the Match: Dimitri Payet
West Brom and West Ham have both been struggling lately but with Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini back for the Hammers they looked a lot better against Watford and now could be ready to take the three points against Tony Pulis’ side.
Everton 2-0 Middlesbrough
Man of the Match: Romelu Lukaku
Everton have been flying at the start of this season and should have no problem beating a Middlesbrough side that continues to struggle to find the back of the net. Yannick Bolasie and Romelu Lukaku will both star.
Watford 0-2 Manchester United
Man of the Match: Wayne Rooney
Although Manchester United have lost their previous two matches in all competitions and struggled against Hull City they should be able to assert enough dominance over Watford and grab two goals.
Crystal Palace 2-1 Stoke
Man of the Match: Christian Benteke
Stoke will finally get their second point of the season. PSYCHE! Crystal Palace have a beast named Christian Benteke now which means the Potters’ defensive struggles look set to continue. Palace will win 2-1.
Southampton 2-1 Swansea City
Man of the Match: Virgil Van Dijk
Southampton looked excellent in the Europa League on Thursday against Sparta Prague as they claimed a 3-0 win. Despite Swansea also looking excellent last time they played against Chelsea in a 2-2 draw, the Saints are the most likely side to come out on top this weekend.
Tottenham 3-0 Sunderland
Man of the Match: Dele Alli
David Moyes’ Sunderland have looked terrible to start this season while Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are really starting to come into their own again. Dele Alli will score at least one goal as Tottenham cruise to a 3-0 victory.
So there it is! A very quick preview for Gameweek 5 in the Barclays Premier League with predicted scores. See you after Gameweek 5 comes to a close for another version of Team of the Week!
